I am looking for any information on my great grandfather George Sheffield who was born in NY and then married Julia Sheff in IA then moved to IA where he settled in the Waterloo area of Blackhawk County. I do not have his father's or mothers name but know they were from CT and Ireland respecively. Any information would help. I have pictures and information to share.
