Property in or near Hudson

I am looking for information concerning the location of a property owned by a John Palmer. The records I have found show that he passed away in Hudson on 10 May, 1901. This is my Mother-in-laws great-great-grandfather and at 80 she would like to finally have a chance to see it.
I am also researching her family line and would appreciate any additional information or direction I could be given. She is Constance Sue Palmer Bennett and we live in Marion. Thank you in advance for your help and consideration.
