Caleb Wells of Spring Creek, Black Hawk, Iowa was born in 1801 in Otsego County, NY. He was a son of my ancestor, Caleb Wells, Sr. who built the bridge at Wells Bridge, NY. The Otsego County Historical Society has more information as well as the Town of Wells Bridge. they recently had a bicentennial celebration. Caleb Sr. I believe is buried in Sidney, NY. Does anyone have Caleb Sr.s ancestry? I cannot find it anywhere.
