Gilbertville--Mrs. Peter Hemmer died at her home at 4:15 a.m. Monday, April 15, 1935, after a long period of failing health due to advanced age.
Funeral services were held here Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception church here. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Rev. W. J. Cremer, pastor, officiated.
Barbara Nosbisch was born in Germany on Dec. 6, 1860, and came to the United States when she was three years old. Her marriage to Peter Hemmer took place in Gilbertville on April 12, 1893.
Survivors are her husband, three sons, Nicholas, Gilbertville, John and Joe, Raymond, nine grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Catherine Krantz, Waterloo.

Raymond--Several from here attended the funeral of Mrs. Peter Hemmer at Gilbertville Wednesday. She was the mother of John and Joe Hemmer, both of here. She passed away early Monday morning.
