NATIVE OF GERMANY DIED YESTERDAY

Mrs. Susanna Dellagardelle, wife of Mathias Dellagardelle, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. F. Kurtenbach, on a farm near Gilbertville. Mrs. Dellagardelle had been a patient sufferer for a number of years and the cause of her death was due to cancer of the stomach.

The deceased was born on January 2, 1846, in Luxemburg, Germany. In 1866, she came to Illinois and in 1888 she came to Iowa, and since 1898, the family has been living on a farm near Gilbertville.

Mrs. Dellagardelle leaves six children: Michael of Gilbertville; Nicholas of Waterloo; and John, Peter, Mrs. Lena Weber, and Mrs. Kurtenbach, all living on farms near Gilbertville to mourn her death.

She was a faithful member of the Catholic church and the funeral services will be held from St. Mary's Church at Gilbertville, Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock.
