MICHAEL EHR DIES; UNCONSCIOUS A MONTH
Michael Ehr, a farmer living near Raymond, who was injured in an explosion more than a month ago, died at St. Francis hospital at 1 p.m. today after one of the most remarkable struggles for life ever seen by the physicians of this city.
On the afternoon of Jan. 9, Ehr was thawing out an acetylene light plant with warm water, the plant exploded and several pieces of iron struck him. He sustained a fracture of the skull and internal injuries. He was brought here in a state of coma and never regained consciousness. He was unconscious 750 hours.
