Edwalt Hankner, aged 26, died at Waterloo of concussion of the brain, after a four-round boxing bout with Gorden Vaughan, aged 20. The latter was absolved from blame by a coroner’s jury.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows the name as Erwalt Hanker who was born Aug. 5, 1893 and died May 3, 1916; however this doesn’t agree with the above age. He is buried in Fairview Cemetery.
