Obituary for Lesley B. Toma

WAVERLY, IOWA – Lesley B. Toma, 42, of Waverly, formerly of Cedar Falls, Iowa, died Thursday, July 5, 2018 at her home, of cancer.

She was born February 8, 1976, in Burlington, Vermont, the daughter of Robert and Sarah (Cook) Henderson. She married Troy Toma on August 23, 2003 in Clinton Twp., Michigan.

She earned a B.A. degree in History and Religion from Auburn University (Alabama) and her Masters degree in Public Administration from Wayne State University (Michigan). She was Director of Discipleship at Trinity United Methodist Church in Waverly.

Survived by: her husband of Waverly; four sons, Jackson and triplets: Christian, Jameson and Cameron, all at home; her mother and step father, Sarah and Andrew Pchola of The Villages, FL; and a brother, Kyle Henderson of Lobelville, TN.

Preceded in death by: her father.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church in Cedar Falls. Visitation from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the church and also for one hour prior to the service. Richardson Funeral Service, Cedar Falls, is assisting the family.
