CEDAR FALLS, IOWA - Lloyd G. “Bud” Fosse, 93, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the Western Home Communities-Martin Center.

He was born October 5, 1924, in Cresco, Iowa, the son of Seymour L. and Antoinette “Neddie” Edminister Fosse. He married Mary Ellen Pierce October 23, 1948, in Cedar Falls, IA. She died April 6, 2017. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II.

Bud worked as a journeyman electrician with the I.B.E.W. Local #288, retiring in 1987. He was Past Commander of the Cedar Falls AMVETS Post #49 from 1968-69 and also both District and State Past Commander (1972-73).

Preceded in death by two sisters, Marjorie and Louise Fosse.

Services 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the Nazareth Lutheran Church Chapel in Cedar Falls, with interment in the Garden of Memories, Waterloo. Visitation one hour prior to the services at the church. Full military honors provided by the Cedar Falls AMVETS Post #49.
