Obituary for Ivan F. Bartholomew

Ivan “Ike” F. Bartholomew 89, died Monday October 2, at UnityPoint Health-Allen Hospice in Waterloo, Iowa. He was born June 9, 1928, in Waterloo, the son of Faye and Elsie Schuler Bartholomew.

Ike was employed with John Deere for 35 years as an iron reader. He retired from John Deere in 1983.

He is survived by one brother, Thomas (Darla) Thompson of Aurora, Iowa; and by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

Graveside service will be 11:00a.m. Thursday October 5, at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
