Obituary for Lois Wolf

Lois (Hankin) Wolf, recently of Eagan, Minnesota, formerly of Waterloo, Iowa, died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017, from complications of dementia at age 92.

She was born in Milwaukee Sept. 24, 1925 where she grew up. She studied art at the University of Iowa where she met her husband of 61 years, attorney Melvin Wolf. Lois and Mel lived in Waterloo for more than 60 years. Lois was an expert card player, puzzler, Bingo aficionado, and sometimes artist.

She is survived by her daughter Caryn of Waukee and daughter Marna (David) Orren of Eagan.

She was predeceased by her husband Mel, daughter Dale and brother Lorry.

Services: Sunday, Oct. 8, 2 p.m., at Beth Olem Section of Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery, 3430 W. 4th St. with burial there. There will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to donors' choice.
