September 28, 1983 - September 23, 2017

Heaven gained another angel on September 23, 2017. Our precious, beautiful daughter, wife and mother and friend, Abbi Jenean Albritton Annis went to live with Jesus for eternity.

Abbi would have celebrated her 34th birthday Thursday, September 28th. Her hugs, her smile, her silly texts, her love for children and family, her love for people and life in general. Abbi always felt she was so blessed, but actually we were blessed to have Abbi in our lives.

Abbi was born Sept 28, 1983, in Monroe, Louisiana, to Paul & Kimberly Pardue Albritton. Abbi attended A.L. Smith Elementary school in Sterlington, Louisiana. In 1995 Abbi’s family moved to Iowa.

Abbi graduated from Carlisle High School in 2001. She attended Grandview College in Des Moines, University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, married Jason Nolte in 2003 and together they had three children. She later graduated from Hawkeye Community College, in Waterloo, with 3.98 GPA. Abbi and Jamie married in November 2012 and had three children. She was currently taking additional courses at UNI.

She was our family’s biggest cheerleader and her first thoughts were always thinking of us. We can’t think of a reason good enough that God needed her more than we do. But if love could have saved her, she would have lived forever. Our blessing is knowing we will see her again.

Abbi loved being a “stay at home” mom and making crafts with her children. Her Godly gifts included being the family’s cheerleader and caretaker. Some of her favorites include going to Starbucks, daisy flowers, her blanket, music, writing, organizing family get togethers, going to the lake, shopping at Target and visiting New York (especially Central Park) & Christmas.

Abbi is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Prentice Pardue (Grandaddy)

She is survived by her current husband Jamie E. Annis and her children Madison Nolte, Allyson Nolte, Carson Nolte, Kinnick Annis, Willow Annis & Hayden Annis. Also her parents Paul & Kim Albritton of Carlisle, her brother Noel (Brandi) Albritton of Altoona, Cole Albritton of Ames, sister Bonnie (Devyn Sarrazin) of Carlisle, her maternal grandmother Joyce (V.A.) Hennen of Choudrant, LA, paternal grandparents, Morris and Dixie Albritton of Sterlington, LA, her in laws N.S. “Hap” and Cammie Annis of Waterloo, brother in law N.S. “Sam” (Niki) Annis of Hudson and Justin Annis of Terrence, Ca, sister in laws Lindsey, Anne, and Kindal Annis of Waterloo. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, & cousins.

Visitation--Thursday Sept.28 2017 at Prairie Lakes Church, Cedar Falls 4-7 p.m.

Funeral--Friday Sept 29, 2017 at Prairie Lakes Church, Cedar Falls 10:30 a.m.

Burial--Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery
