Obituary for Beulah M. Clark

Beulah Clark, 100, of Friendship Village, died Saturday, September 9 at Lakeview Landing.

She was born October 8, 1916 in Clinton County, daughter of Henry and Emma (Broderson) Specht.

She married Donald Clark November 10, 1939 in Waterloo. He died November 7, 1983.

Beulah graduated from Maquoketa School. She then attended Jane Lamb School of Nursing and was employed at Allen Memorial Hospital for most of her nursing career. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Waterloo.

Survived by: Four grandchildren, Michelle (Che) McIlrath of Hutchinson, Minn., Scott (Sarah) Clark of Cloquet, Minn., Michael (Denise) Clark of Anchorage, Alaska, and Linda (Kim) Porter of New Sharon, Iowa; four great-grandchildren, Mikayla and Corbin McIlrath, and Stephanie and Jackie Clark; a sister, Ruth Denger; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: her husband; two sons, Steven Clark and Richard Clark; two brothers, Lester Specht and Donald Specht; and one sister, Wilma Mohr.

Services will be 11:00 Friday, September 15 at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation will be for one hour before services at the funeral home.
