Obituary for Geneva M. Martin

Geneva M. Martin, 67, of Waterloo, died Saturday, September 9, at Unity Point Health-Allen Hospital.

She was born June 12, 1950, in Waterloo, daughter of Clinex and Lillie Bass Epps. She married Edward Martin, they later divorced.

Survivors include: a son, Edward “Bozo” Martin III of Waterloo; a daughter, Cynthia Martin of Waterloo; two brothers, Fred Epps of Waterloo, and Terry (Kim) Epps of Shalimar, Fla; two sisters, Lillie Epps of Waterloo and Lois Underwood of Minneapolis, Minn; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: her parents; two sons, Rodney Epps and Clinex “Zero” Martin, a sister Katherine Epps, and a baby brother, “Butchy Boy”.

Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 15, at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service. Visitation will be for one hour before services on Friday. Burial at Fairview Cemetery will follow the service.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
