Obituary for Debra Jean Babinat--

Cedar Falls, Iowa – Debra “Deb” Jean Babinat, age 61, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, August 11, at her home.

She was born on December 23, 1955, the daughter of John and Barbara (Necker) Schumacher. She attended Orange School.

On December 16, 1972, she was united in marriage to Michael Babinat in Fairbank. She worked as a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Christina (Tarek) Yacout of Waterloo, and Beth (Travis) Scott of La Porte City; and five grandchildren, Khyra Cooley of NV, Mariah, Chelsea, Andrew and Hali Scott of La Porte City.

Preceded in death by: her parents; and a daughter, Jennifer Ann Babinat.

Funeral services will be 10:30am Wednesday, August 16, at St Patrick Catholic Church in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be from 4-7pm on Tuesday at Richardson Funeral Service, with a rosary at 4pm and vigil at 7pm. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
