Joseph G. Appleby, 83, of Bickford Cottage, formerly of Waterloo, died at his home Wednesday, July 26, 2017.
He was born November 24, 1933 in Iowa City, son of Eugene and Edna Almond Appleby.
He married Karen Treweiler and they later divorced; he married Bonnie Beebee and they later divorced.
He worked in the John Deere Foundry until his retirement.
Survivors include a son, Gregory (Barb), Waterloo; three daughters: Becky Appleby, Waterloo, Angie Appleby, Grundy Center, and Donna (Chris) Wilson, Dysart; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Jack, Waterloo; and nieces and nephews.
He is preceded by his parents and a brother, Eugene.
