Obituary for Lloyd W. Hahn

Lloyd W. Hahn, 84, of Fairbank, died Friday, July 21 at his daughter’s home in Evansdale.

He was born September 25, 1932 in New Hampton, son of Emil and Selma Hahn. He married Mary Thrasher, Oct. 23, 1950 in New Hampton.

Lloyd was employed with Rath Packing .

Suvivors include his wife, of the Oelwein Care Center; a son, Michael (Barb) of Florida; three daughters, Diane (Denise) Hahn of Texas, Shelly (Ike) Stanford of Evansdale and Sheri (Richard) Jensen of Colorado Springs, Colo; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one brother, Jerry (Bonnie) Hahn of Waverly.

Preceded in death by a son, Terry Hahn; a grandson, Tony Hahn; one brother, Ed Hahn and one sister, Lavonne Tryona.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 25 at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation will be 3 until 6 p.m. Monday, July 24 at the funeral home on West Ridgeway, continuing for one hour before services on Tuesday.
