CEDAR FALLS, IOWA – Charles I. Kuczor, 94, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls.

He was born May 11, 1923, in South Bend, Indiana, son of Charles and Mary (Bogol) Kuczor. He married Ruth Robinson on March 17, 1946 in Kensett, Iowa. She preceded him in death on November 12, 2008.

He graduated from South Bend (Indiana) High School and served in the United States Army during World War II. He was employed as a supply clerk with Northwestern Bell Telephone for over 33 years, retiring in 1984. Chuck was a volunteer at Sartori Memorial Hospital and a member of Telephone Pioneers, Cedar Falls Community Theater, and First United Methodist Church, Cedar Falls.

Survived by: a daughter, Nancy (Steve) Kuczor Uline of Grand Prairie, TX; and a grandson, Alex Uline.

Preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Wilkinson and Elvira Kuczor; and sister-in-law, Hazel Anderson.

Services: 9:30 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church with burial in Fairview Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Richardson Funeral Service and also for one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the Sartori Foundation or the church.
