Biography--

Ivan Bosnjak, 80, of Waterloo, Iowa, died Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

He was born March 11, 1937 in Bosnia, the son of Anto and Katica (Pravdic) Bosnjak.

He married Milosava Bajic on February 2, 1957 in Breza, Bosnia. He owned and operated Brioni in Bosnia, retiring and moving to the United States in 2005.

Ivan loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed good food, good drinks and music.

Survived by: his wife Milosava of Waterloo; three daughters, Lidija (Marinko) Golub of Waterloo, Gordana (Jacky) Rosic of Waterloo, Žana (Frank) Schneider of Germany; six grandchildren, Alen (Dina) Rosic of Waterloo, Paco Rosic of Waterloo; Srdjan (Liza) Golub of Waterloo; Ognjen Golub of Eugene, Oregon, Alexander Schneider of Germany; Anna Maria Schneider of Germany; two great-granddaughters, Isabella Rosic and Andjela Golub both of Waterloo; one sister, Ljubica Bosnjak of Croatia and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: his parents; one brother, Joso; two sisters, Mara and Ivanka; two step brothers, Drago and “Braco” Mijo and one step sister Katica.
