Biography--

Clarence H. Beier, 84, of Waterloo, died at home, on Monday, June 5, 2017.

He was born on July 21, 1932 in Waucoma, Iowa, the son of Fred & Louise (Meyers) Beier.

Clarence married Jean L. Nelson, November 11, 1956, in Waterloo; she preceded him in death on October 20, 2014.

He was employed by Rath Packing Co., for 32 years until he retired in 1984.

He was a charter member of Ascension Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Rochelle (Greg) Kemmet of Pueblo West, CO; a son, Richard (Joan) Beier of Newton; five grandchildren, Andrew, Leah, Rachel, Alison and Austin.

Clarence was preceded in death by his wife; three brothers, Melvin, Edwin, and LaVerne; and three sisters, Ruth Zmoos, Mildred Poppe, and Della Bockhaus.
