Obituary for John L. Frank--
John L. Frank, 73, of Waterloo, Iowa, died Monday, March 20 at Unitypoint Allen Hospital in Waterloo.
He was born January 15, 1944, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Jake and Lucile Scheppele Frank. He married Marlys ‘Marty’ Miller in Waterloo on April 4, 1987.
John worked and retired from IPS in Waterloo.
He is survived by his wife of Waterloo; one daughter, Jana Kerr of Cedar Falls; four sons: Tim (Patsy) of Evansdale, Dave (Heidi) of Evansdale, Michael (Kimberly) of Cedar Falls, and Zach of Waterloo; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and by one sister, Sue (Wayne) Kampa of Jesup.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, James and Justin.
Services will be 10:30 Saturday, March 25 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Public visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Friday, March 24 at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgway, where there will be a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation will continue for one hour before services on Saturday morning.
