Terry Lee Ewoldt was born on August 10, 1961, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Sherman and Faye Lou Ewoldt. He grew up in Dysart, Iowa, and graduated from Dysart-Geneseo High School in 1980.

Terry was married to Deb Luze for 24 years and had three children. He worked as a farmer and a carpenter. Terry enjoyed spending time with his family at his lake home on Lake Ponderosa. He also loved NASCAR and most of all, being “TT” to his grandchildren.

Terry died at the age of 55 on Friday, September 23, 2016, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sherman.

Terry is survived by his mother, Faye Lou of Traer; two sons, AJ (Kristin) Ewoldt of Dysart and Wesley (Jade) Ewoldt of Dysart; a daughter, Carlee Ewoldt of Dysart; two brothers, Tim (Holly) Ewoldt of Traer and Mark (Wendy) Ewoldt of Dysart; and five grandchildren, Laikyn, Briggs, Koy, Kollins, and Sutton.

In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to Terry’s family. There will be a graveside service at Buckingham Cemetery in rural Traer on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at 10:00 AM for family and close friends.
