Barbara Jane Lawson was born May 21, 1950 in Waterloo, Iowa: the daughter of Charles and Orley (Siglin) Lawson. She graduated from Waterloo West High School with the class of 1969. Barbara then worked at Goodwill Industries for several years.

She loved frogs and collected stuffed frogs. Barbara also enjoyed watching soap operas.

Barbara passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016 at Ravenwood Specialty Care at the age of 66.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Barbara is survived by her two brothers, Charles (Linda) Lawson of Greenwood Village, Colorado and Donald (Brenda) Lawson of Titusville, Florida; a sister, Suzanne (Donald) McAndrews of Manassas, Virginia; and nieces and nephews.
