Donna Mae Ferguson was born on February 27, 1929, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Clarence and Helen Thiele. She graduated from East High School. Donna was united in marriage with Robert James Ferguson on May 21, 1960. She was a homemaker who loved to read books and spend time with her grandchildren.

On Wednesday, February 22, 2017, Donna passed away at Cedar Falls Health Care Center at the age of 87.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a brother, Robert Thiele and his wife, Ann.

Donna is survived by her daughters, Pam (John) Johnson of Newton, Iowa and Sue Ferguson of Waterloo, Iowa; and by three grandchildren: Alex and Anna Johnson, and Chad Ferguson.
