Biography--

Catherine Lucile “Kay” Ritter, 96, of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, and formerly of Waterloo, Iowa, died Friday, June 24, 2016 at Bluff Haven Assisted Living in Prairie du Chien.

She was born January 4, 1920, in Superior, Wisconsin, the daughter of Charles and Anna (Baier) Hack. She married Dale S. Ritter on August 10, 1942, in Bessmer, Michigan. He preceded her in death on September 2, 1992.

Catherine was a homemaker.

Kay is survived by two sons, Sam (Marsha) Ritter of Prairie du Chien, WI; Dale (Punkie) of Frankfort, IL; by one daughter, Donna (Roger) Rizner of Land O Lakes, FL; by six grandchildren and by seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers: Fred, Harry, George and Clarence Hack; and by two sisters, Mabel Calzaretta and Marie Spaulding.
