Biography--

Mabel Helena Bertha Travis, 86, of Bickford Cottage in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and formerly of Waterloo, Iowa, died on November 14, 2016 at Covenant Medical Center.

She was born on August 7, 1930, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of William and Luella (Lage) Busch. Mabel graduated from Gladbrook High School in 1948.

She married Henry Albert Travis on October 23, 1954 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua; he preceded her in death July 21, 1995.

Mabel owned farmland in which she rented out and crop shared, she worked as a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Terry (Carol) Travis of California and Jerry (Lisa) Travis of Waterloo; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Wilbur (Sherry) Busch of Marion.

She was preceded in death by her husband; and by two sons, Gary Travis and Larry Travis
