Visitation:
Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel, 3146 Kimball Ave. in Waterloo and an hour prior to the services on Thursday at the church

Cemetery:
Cremation will follow the funeral services and private family inurnment will be in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery

Biography--

Claudette L. Brunscheon, age 86, of Waterloo, died Saturday, November 12, 2016 at NewAldaya Lifescapes in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

She was born December 30, 1929 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Claude and Ruth (Bueter) Flint. Claudette was a graduate of Waterloo East High School and was united in marriage with Donald R. Brunscheon on July 16, 1950, in Waterloo. He preceded her in death on May 21, 1999.

Claudette worked as a sales associate at Black’s and Donaldson’s Department Stores for 20 years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and the ladies circle, the Waterloo Elklettes and the Black’s and Donaldson’s Retirement Club.

Survivors include two sons, Randy (Julie) Brunscheon of Cedar Falls and Tim (Terry) Brunscheon of Fredericksburg, VA.; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Donald; and two brothers, Gene and Tim in infancy.
