Biography--

Mary Jo Zielske, 83, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born October 21, 1933 in Waterloo the daughter of Thomas and Opal (Courter) Huntbach, Sr. She was a graduate of Waterloo East High School. Mary Jo married Ernest Oliphant, they were later divorced. She married Helmer Walter Morgensen, he preceded her in death. She married Richard Zielske and he preceded her in death.

She had worked in sales with Alstadt and Langlas, Waterloo/Cedar Falls Courier in Advertising, owned and operated Frosty Freeze and Rolls Royce Antiques and was a distributor for Gourmet Foods. Mary Jo was a former member of the Sweet Adeline’s and the Waterloo Women’s Club

She is survived by two daughters, Sandra (Dale) Madsen and Rebecca (Dan) Edsill all of Waterloo; five grandchildren: Jennifer (Dr. Mark) Schrad of Pennsylvania, Elizabeth (Jason) Poyner of Waterloo, Katherine (Ken Kinney) Edsill of Waterloo, Michelle (Brian) Brunko of Waterloo, Michael Madsen of Waterloo and twelve great grandchildren, Alexander, Sophia, Helena, Austin, Emma, Aria, Mason, Noah, Gracie, Jonah, Isaiah and Selah.

Preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; and by one brother, Thomas Huntbach, Jr.
