Biography--

Rhonda Pierson, 62 of Evansdale, died Sunday, March 26, 2017 at UnityPoint Health Allen Hospital of natural causes.

She was born August 25, 1954, in Lostwood, North Dakota the daughter of Clarence and Doris (Meyer) Ostdahl. She was a 1973 graduate of Waterloo East High School. Rhonda married Tony Hirsch on December 29, 1973; he preceded her in death in 1976. She was united in marriage to William Pierson, Sr. on June 10, 1989.

Rhonda was currently working as the receptionist at Allied Oil in Elk Run Heights.

Survivors include her husband William, of Evansdale; one daughter, Bobbi Jo (Troy) Lawless of Waterloo; one step son, William Pierson, Jr.; one granddaughter, Katie Jo Lawless of Waterloo; three step grandsons: Kelby, Kody and Konner; three sisters: Rita Spears of Brandon, Ramona (Duane) Tilkes of Washburn and Renee (Duane) Steimel of Waterloo and six brothers: Robert (Elaine) Ostdahl of Evansdale; Ricky Ostdahl of Waterloo; Ronald Ostdahl of Evansdale and Roderic and Rory Ostdahl of Waterloo and Rodney Ostdahl of Clarinda.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and by her first husband.
