WATERLOO, IOWA – Rande L. Galle, 65, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at UPH-Allen Hospital in Waterloo.

He was born May 5, 1951, in Waterloo, son of Merlyn and Helen (Weidemann) Galle. He married Sandy Cusher on February 7, 1970 at St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Hudson.

He drove truck for Clay Equipment and then RAKAB. He then worked in dispatch at RAKAB for 20 years prior to delivering parts for Wheeler Auto Body.

He is survived by his wife of Waterloo; three sons: Rande Jr (Patty) and Danny (Heather) of Waterloo, and Jason (Kristina) of Johnston; seven grandchildren: Mariah (Austin) Corson, Jordan, Abigail, Megan, Erin, Isaiah, and Ian Galle; one great-grandson, Jaxson Corson; a brother, Ron Galle of Waterloo; and two sisters, Dorothy Peightal of Fort Mojave, AZ, and Rhonda (Mary) Galle of Williams, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Derrick Galle.

Services: Tuesday at Faith Lutheran Church in Waterloo. Visitation Monday at Richardson Funeral Service, Cedar Falls, and also for one hour prior to the service at the church.
