Obituary for Bob E. Maynard

Bob E. Maynard, 71, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, died Monday, January 30, 2017 at Sartori Memorial Hospital.

He was born June 3, 1945 in Gorman, Texas, the son of Archie and Della Curtis Maynard. He married Charlotte Moran and they later divorced. He married Debra in Texas and they later divorced.

He graduated from Cisco High School in Texas and attended Cisco Junior College. He served in the United States Army as a Medic during Vietnam. He owned and operated a filling station and garage in Cisco, and then operated B and M Mud Logging, also in Cisco, prior to working at Maynard’s Transmission and Auto Repair in Cedar Falls.

Survived by: a son, Benji Maynard Honea of May, TX; daughter, Barbara Maynard of Rowlett, TX; and a brother, Lyndon (Mary Ellen) Maynard of Cedar Falls.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
