Biography--

Irma B. Magdefrau, 100, of Waterloo, Iowa, formerly of Auburn, Calif., died at the Elizabeth E. Martin Health Center of Western Home Communities, Cedar Falls, Iowa, on Thursday, April 6, 2017. She was born August 22, 1916 in Elgin, Iowa, daughter of John and Alma Berndt.

She married Albert Wyse Magdefrau April 19, 1935; he died May 15, 1995. She was a member of Cedar Valley Community Church and was a lifetime member of Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include a son, John (Sandy) Magdefrau of Waterloo; three granddaughters: Kristen Parker of California, October (James) Riddle of Windsor Heights, Iowa and Amanda (Brian) Jones of Urbandale, Iowa; and four great-granddaughters: Alexandra, Megan, Natalie, and Abigail.
