Biography--

Donald K. Potter II, 85, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, October 2, 2016, at Pinnacle Specialty Care of Cedar Falls of natural causes.

He was born September 15, 1931, in Dunlap, Iowa, the son of Donald K. I and Jeanette Rogers Potter. He married Georgia Winter on February 14, 1960, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa.

Donald graduated from Roosevelt High School in Des Moines and attended ISTC in Cedar Falls. He had been a maintenance engineer at West High School and previously was in the automotive industry as an inventory control specialist, and he served in the U.S. Army from 1954-56. Donald was a member of Trinity Episcopal Parish in Waterloo.

He is survived by his wife, Georgia; a son, Donald K. (Jean) Potter III of Des Moines; and a grandchild.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents.
