Biography--

Eileen McGrane, 90, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, formerly of Waterloo, died at NewAldaya Lifescapes on Sunday, November 20, 2016.

She was born November 1, 1926 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Lyle and Lily Jordan Rathbone and graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1944.

Eileen married Luverne Joseph McGrane; they later divorced. She had worked at Rath Packing Co. and John Deere.

She is survived by four daughters: Judy (Larry) Schoer, Jodi (Don) Verbraken, Linda (Rob) Buttgen, all of Waterloo, and Susie (Dale) Berghaus of Gilbert, AZ; a son, Danny McGrane of Waterloo; 11 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Eileen is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Donna Kirkland; brothers, Paul and Wayne Rathbone; and a great grandson, Christopher Berghaus.
