Obituary for Nancy Lea Catchpool

CEDAR FALLS, IOWA - Nancy Lea Catchpool, 71, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, May 29, 2016 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo.

She was born September 20, 1944, in Ft. Dodge, IA, the daughter of Kenneth L. and Kathryn Marie Davis Ulstad. She graduated from Billings, Montana Senior High School in 1962.

She married Ronald Catchpool October 12, 1963 in Waterloo. Nancy worked as a clerk at Earl May Nursery and Garden Center for four years and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Jill (Todd) Van Dorn and Ann (Brad) Pierschbacher, both of Cedar Falls; son, Bruce Catchpool of Waterloo; six grandchildren, Spencer and Jessica Van Dorn, Landry, Makenna, and Skylar Boerhave, Katie Catchpool, three step grandchildren, Ross, Beth and Kayla Pierschbacher; and two great-grandchildren, Jude and Noah.

She wa preceded by her parents; brother, Dennis Ulstad;and son-in-law, Lyle Boerhave.

A gathering will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2016 at the Richardson Funeral Service in Cedar Falls. Online condolences may be left at www.richardsonfuneralservice.com . Memorial contributions may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
