Biography--

Carol Elaine Hamilton, 74, of Elk Run Heights, Iowa, died Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born August 8, 1941 in San Bernadino, California, daughter of Arthur and Martha Crawford. She married Clem Hamilton, Jr. September 14, 1962 at United Methodist Church, Jesup.

Carol was employed with US West Service Link as a telephone operator for 29 years, retiring in 1998.

She is survived by her husband; a son Mark (Sheri) Hamilton of Evansdale; a daughter, Amy (Steve ) Spurgeon of Olatha, Kansas; four grandchildren: Jason and Ashley Hamilton and Tori and Olivia Spurgeon; four sisters: Cathy (Steve) Carlson of Fairbank, Laurie Crawford, Becky (Lyle) Wilson and Sue Heinen, all of Jesup; and two brothers, John Crawford of Jesup and Paul Crawford of Independence.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martha and Arthur Crawford.

Services will be Tuesday at Kimball Avenue Methodist Church with burial in Waterloo Cemetery. Public visitation will be Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway and continue for one hour before services at the church.
