Biography--

Robert J. "Bob" Foster Jr., 69, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo.

He was born March 9, 1946, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Robert J. Sr. and Kathryn L. Dart Foster. Robert married Nancy Nation June 23, 1984 in Cedar Falls. He was a 1964 graduate of Waterloo West High School. Robert served in the U.S. Air Force during Viet Nam (1964‑1968). He worked at J&L Plumbing & Heating, then was a pipefitter at UNI retiring in 2009.

Robert is survived by his wife, Nancy Foster, of Cedar Falls, Iowa; two daughters, Anne (Josh) Foster, of Des Moines, Iowa and Brooke (Todd) Foster, of Hudson, Iowa; one son, David (Jacqui) Nelson, of Cedar Falls, Iowa; four grandchildren, Jacob Seehase and Nicholas Nelson, both of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Kaleb Bozorgzadeh, of Colorado, and Hannah Bozorgzadeh, of Waterloo, and three sisters, Kay (Dan) Carey, of Virginia, Dixie (Felix) Foldvik, of Texas, and Vickie (Ron) Hatchel, of Janesville, Wisconsin.

He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather George Nelson, and one sister, Mary Kingsbury.

Services:
11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Locke Funeral Home where military rites will be conducted by Offutt Air Force Base Honor Guard and Cedar Falls AMVETS Post #49.

Visitation:
The Family will greet friends for an hour before services at the funeral home and again following the service at Cedar Falls AMVETS Post #49, 1934 Irving Street.
