Barry L. Green (1948-2015)

CEDAR FALLS, IOWA – Barry L. Green, 67, of Cedar Falls died Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at his home.

He was born May 5, 1948, in Hawarden, Iowa, son of Glenn and Carol (Johnson) Green. He married Sharon Hanson on April 21, 1987 in San Diego, California.

He was employed as a truck driver with Whole Excavation in Hudson. Barry loved people and to make people laugh. He loved to work on motorcycles in his spare time.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon; two sons, Tom (Kim) Jackson of Hemet, CA, and Michael Green of Cedar Falls; his mother, Carol Green of Cedar Falls; two granddaughters, Seaera and Sidney Jackson; a brother, Daniel Green of Cedar Falls; two sisters, Sandy Briggs and Betsy Green, both of Framingham, MA; and a special niece, Kimberly Meyer of Framingham.

He is preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Joel and David Green.

No services are being planned.
