James A. “Jim” Stanard (1933-2015)

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - James A. “Jim” Stanard, 80, of Cedar Falls died Monday, November 16, 2015, at his home.

He was born January 24, 1935 in Cedar Falls, Iowa, son of Clair and Verona (Bush) Stanard. He married Nancy Lee Adams on June 16, 1957 in Webster City, Iowa.

He attended Iowa State Teachers College and was a stock broker with Smith Barney.

Survived by: his wife of Cedar Falls; a son, Paul Stanard of San Francisco, CA, a brother, David (Judy) Stanard of Saddlebrooke, AZ; and a brother-in-law, Jack Adams of Webster City.

Services: 2:00 p.m. Friday at Richardson Funeral Service, Cedar Falls. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, and also for one hour prior to the service Friday.
