Mary “Pat” Limkemann (1938-2015)

CEDAR FALLS, IOWA – Mary “Pat” Limkemann, 77, of Cedar Falls died Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Covenant Medical Center.

She was born July 22, 1938, in Brownsville, Pennsylvania, daughter of Joseph and Nelly (Miller) Lewis. She married Joseph Limkemann in 1953, renewing their vows in 2005.

She was a homemaker throughout her adult life, working various jobs as a cook. She worked for 15 years at Douglas and Lomason Manufacturing in Red Oak.

She is survived by her husband, Joe; four daughters, Mary Lou (Steve) Hall of Essex, Bonnie (Wes) Wilson of Pasco, WA, Alice Spencer of Holts Summit, MO, and Clara Limkemann of Red Oak; a son, Joe (Diane) Limkemann of Cedar Falls; 15 grandchildren; and 32 great grandchildren.

She was preceded by one daughter, Donna Limkemann.
