Biography--

Betty Jean Malone, 86, of Sartell, Minnesota, and formerly of Waterloo, Iowa, died Saturday, November 21, at Country Manor Nursing Home, Sartell, of natural causes.

She was born July 28, 1929, in La Porte City, daughter of Myrtle Manfull. She married David Malone in 1980 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Waterloo.

Betty graduated from La Porte City High School. She worked at Powers Manufacturing for 26 years as a seamstress and later moved to St. Cloud, Minn., where she resided for the past 35 years.

Survived by: a daughter, Carol Cook-Williams of Waterloo; two grandchildren, Shane (Laurel) Cook and Heather Williams, both of Waterloo; a great-grandson, Jonathan Cook of Waterloo; and a sister-in-law, Marie Nelson of Gainesville, Fla.
