Biography--
Steve A. Wolf, 58, of Country View Care Center, died at Covenant Medical Center, on Tuesday, December 9, 2014.

Steve was born on August 31, 1956 in Waterloo, the son of Laurence and Irene Bingaman Wolf.

He graduated from River Hills School.

Steve was sports enthusiast who loved watching the Iowa Hawkeyes, Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bulls. He was a proud Democrat and liked helping at polling locations during elections. Steve enjoyed acting in theatric productions, notably The Wizard of Oz and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He loved music, biking and bowling and had participated in several different events at the Special Olympics.

Steve worked at North Star for over 20 years.

He is survived by his mother, Irene Jurgensen of Waterloo; two sisters, Tammy (Scott) Smith of Independence and Kim (Hud) Williams of Waterloo; a brother, Brian (Cindy) Wolf of Cedar Falls; seven nieces and nephews; three great-nieces; a great-nephew; and a special friend, Cindy Peterson of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by his father, Laurence Wolf; two brothers, Larry and Roger; a sister, Debbie Wolf; and paternal and maternal grandparents.
