Biography--

Minnie J. “Jean" Lee, 68, of Waterloo, died at UnityPoint Health ‑ Allen Hospital, on Thursday January 22, 2015, due to complications from a stroke.

She was born on April 22, 1946 in Hickory Ridge, Alaska, the daughter of George and Esther Eubanks Lawrence. She married Warren Lee on August 1, 1965, in Waterloo. She graduated from Waterloo East High. Minnie worked as a RN and Recreational Aid at Country View for over 40 years.

She is survived by her husband, Warren Lee of Waterloo; a daughter, Brandi (Danny) Bowers of Waterloo; a son, Robert Lee of Waterloo; two brothers, Bill (Bobbie) Lawernce of Waterloo and George Lawernce of Arkansas; five sisters, Mary Ann (Bobby) Berry of Arkansas, Renee (Jack) of Goodyear, Washington, Donna Jameson of Texas, Dorthy Miller of Texas, and Nellie (Robbie) Robertson of Washington; sister-in-law, Kathy (Darwin) Poyner of Waterloo; brother-in-law, Steve (Pat) Lee of Arizona; and by 17 nephews and seven nieces.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; a sister, Lola Jenkins, Grandma and Grandpa Lawernce; Grandma and Grandpa Eubanks; one nephew and one niece.
