Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel.

Visitation:
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and also hour before service on Thursday.

Biography--

Robert W. “Bob” Wilson, 77, of Evansdale, died Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

Robert was born on November 6, 1937 in Waterloo, the son of Fred and Agnes (Sauer) Wilson. He graduated from Rogue River High School in Rogue River, Oregon. Robert married Donnetta Wilt on December 6, 1958 in Waterloo; she preceded him in death in 1995. He then married Arlene Laughead on January 28, 2001, in Florida.

He was employed by John Deere for 34 years retiring in 1993.

Robert is survived by his wife, Arlene of Evansdale; three sons, Steve (Debbie) Wilson of La Porte City, Mark (Pam) Wilson of El Cajon, CA, and Craig Wilson of San Diego, CA; three step-sons, Rick (Ranae) Dolleslager of La Porte City, Steve (Kevin Schmitz) Dolleslager of Davenport, and Kirk Dolleslager of Wellsburg; four grandchildren,Chris, David, Josh, and Will Wilson; five step-grandchildren, Devin Dolleslager, McKaila (Nick) Hanna, Austin Dolleslager, Alex Blomme, and Alison Arwine; six step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charlie Wilson of Tampa Florida, and Ben (Polly) Wilson of Shell Rock; three sisters, Blanche Haberstitch of Waterloo, Anna Vincent of Waverly, and Myrt Leyen of Waterloo.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Donnetta; four brothers, Ray, Fred Jr, Ed, and Guy Wilson and one sister, Jenny Carpenter.
