Biography--

Nicholas Paul Hursh, 56, of Parkersburg, Iowa, died on Friday, July 3, 2015 as a result of a highway collision.

He was born on October 29, 1958, in Marengo, Iowa, son of Paul Eugene and Dorothy (Roberts) Hursh.

Nicholas married Cheryl Combs.

He worked as a machinist for Bruns Machine, Inc. in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

He was a motorcycle enthusiast and a member of Sons of Silence club for 30 years. He was also a member of Carpenters Union Local 678.

Nicholas is survived by his wife; three daughters: Jess (Luke) Golke of Romeoville, Illinois, Melissa (Jerry) Weekley of Parkersburg, Iowa, and Chris Brant of Parkersburg, Iowa; seven grandchildren: Wyatt and Winchester Golke, and Amanda, Jessica, Jamie, Joe, and Justin Weekley; a brother, Dan Hursh of Morgantown, West Virginia; a sister, Lori Hursh Rathje, Ely, Iowa; many nieces and nephews; and wide circle of friends.

He was preceded in death by: his parents.
