Biography--

Odette L. Forbes, 90, of Waterloo, Iowa, died Friday, September 4, 2015 at Covenant Medical Center following complications of surgery. She was born June 5, 1925 in Williams, Iowa, the daughter of Walter F. and Marion (Maury) Larsen. She married Ordell Forbes on September 12, 1945 in Cedar Rapids; he preceded her in death in 1967. Odette was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, DelLinda Tryon of Omaha, NE, Kimberly (Bryan) Schake of Dunkerton; one son, Daryl (Kim) Forbes of Phoenix, AZ; six grandchildren, Heather Conkling, Curtis Fain, Shane Forbes, Cole Forbes, Cody Forbes, Thomas Tryon and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
