Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel, 3146 Kimball Avenue in Waterloo.

Visitation:
Public visitation will be held Thursday at the Funeral Home.

Cemetery:
Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery with Full Military Honors by; Evansdale AMVETS Post 31, Waterloo AMVETS Post 19, and US Marine Corps Honor Detail.

Biography--

Kelly D. Schuler, age 57, of Waterloo, died Sunday, November 8, 2015 following a lengthy illness.

He was born March 12, 1958 in Waterloo, the son of Richard D. and Markeata S. Skaim Schuler. Kelly graduated from Waterloo West High School with the Class of 1977. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps, serving from 1977-1981.

Kelly worked as a meat cutter for Shaw’s Grocery Stores in Massachusetts and Connecticut. He liked to go fishing, football, spending time with family and friends and his beloved dog Bella.

Survivors include his mother, Markeata Schuler; his stepmother, Charlotte Schuler; his sister, Stacie (Jay) Holmes, all of Waterloo and a brother, Brian Schuler of Granger, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard D. Schuler and his grandparents, Fred and Alta Schuler and Leonard and Thelma Larson.
