Scott Wilkins

March 6, 1958 - January 14, 2015

Scott Reed Wilkins was born on March 6, 1958, in Waterloo, Iowa, son of William and Rosalyn (Miller) Wilkins. He attended and graduated from Denver Community Schools. Following graduation he moved to Waterloo where he worked for Eagle Foods. Scott is remembered for having very nice cars during this time of his life. He later moved to Evansdale and recently began work for Waterloo Auto Parts as a mechanic. He was an avid fisherman and known for rising early to stake his claim on all of the best fishing spots!

Scott passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at the Allen Memorial Hospital Emergency Room at the age of 56 years.

He is survived by his brothers William (Lea) Wilkins and Peter Wilkins, both of Center Point; a sister Melody (Jonathan) Fawcett also of Center Point; and his dog, Ted, who was his faithful companion. Scott was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Luke Wilkins.
