David G. Fraune

April 29, 1959 to July 15, 2015

David Fraune was born April 29, 1959 in Waterloo, Iowa: the son of Robert and Rosemary (Schmidt) Fraune. He graduated from Columbus High School in 1977. David attended the University of Iowa, obtaining his Bachelors of Science. In California David attended Chico State University for Accounting and Finance. Later, David moved to Boston and worked in finance as a bookkeeper and bought and sold stock. He returned to Waterloo to be close to his family before his death. David enjoyed reading, travel and fishing.

David passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 of cancer at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home at the age of 56.

He is preceded in death by his nephew, Billy Kohls.

David is survived by his parents Robert and Rosemary Fraune of Waterloo; three brothers: Robert (Sandra) Fraune of Waukesha, Wisconsin, Mark Fraune of Waterloo and Lawrence Fraune of Minneapolis; three sisters: Mary (Jim) Fraune of Minocqua, Wisconsin, Patty (Mike) Dennis of Waterloo, and Barb; three nephews: Johnny Kohls, Brandon Fraune and Fernando Fraune and two nieces: Marlena Fraune and Mikayla Fraune.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice, Salvation Army or Masses.
