Norma S. Renner was born January 19, 1917 near Denver, Iowa: the daughter of Edward and Martha (Wolfe) Schroeder. She was married to Wilburt C. Judas; they later divorced. Norma was united in marriage to Walter “Wally” Renner; he preceded her in death.

Norma worked at Montgomery Wards in advertising and also sold Avon. She was nicknamed “Skelly” because her Dad owned a gas station. Norma had an outgoing personality, and she always loved a good party. She enjoyed softball and forensics.

Norma passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at the Denver Sunset Home at the age of 98.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother Orlyn Schroeder; a daughter Carolyn Sprague; a granddaughter Shalee Renner; a son-in-law David Sprague; a daughter-in-law Judy Judas and a sister-in-law Velda Schroeder.

Norma is survived by two sons, Jim Judas of Rockwell City and Pat Renner of Cedar Falls; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
